THE 6TH NEW THEATER IMMIGRANT FESTIVAL was recently held in New York. The event was hosted by Immigrant's Theater Project Marcy Arlin, Artistic Director In Association with Lower East Side
Tenement Museum
, in collaboration with The Kazbah Project.
The more than two weeks long event, showcased plays by women from America, Australia, Egypt, Nigeria, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
The event was closed off by a superlative stage-reading of 'EDEWEDE' by Nigerian writer Juliana Okoh performed by some talented actors shown below as they bask in the joy of their successful outing.
