THE 6TH NEW THEATER IMMIGRANT FESTIVAL was recently held in New York. The event was hosted by Immigrant's Theater Project Marcy Arlin, Artistic Director In Association with Lower East Side Tenement Museum, in collaboration with The Kazbah Project.

The African Dance Drama - PRISONER OF THE KALAKIRI by Professor Chudi Uwazuruike, which opened off-Broadway recently, has taken a break. Directed by Bethels Agomuoh, and featuring talented cast members such as Jamaican-American Joe Cover, British-born Performer Yvonne "Dazz" Forbes and Nigerian-American Lawyer/Author/Poet Oliver Mbamara among others, the play made a good impression and would still go go places.
